Charitable Lead Trust

The charitable lead trust (CLT) is a wonderful way to support Carolina now. The CLT is a mirror image of the charitable remainder trust where the charitable and non-charitable beneficiaries change places - income is immediately generated for Carolina for a term of years with the remainder either returning to the donor(s) or gifted to your heirs or others that you designate. The trust can be structured to generate a fixed dollar or fixed percentage amount to fund the charitable income interest.
